The Gateway Farmers Market returns on April 18, bringing together neighbors, farmers, makers, bakers, and local vendors for another vibrant season. Make a plan to attend opening day and share with your community.
The market will be open every Saturday from 9 am - 1 pm, rain or shine, through November. Get hungry, check your recipes, plan a dinner party, bring your tote bags, call an old friend for coffee, pull out your vases for spring flowers, and dust off your picnic blanket.
Skateboard Community Day takes place on Saturday, May 2 from 2 pm - 6 pm at 3710 Wells Ave in Mount Rainier. This high energy, community driven event brings together skaters, artists, and local organizations for an afternoon of music, skate activations, and cultural connection.
Attendees can expect skate jams, contests, lessons, and live music featuring Zocko!, Gulley Jimson, The Screws, and Loud Zombie, along with a range of community partners and vendors.
On Saturday, May 9, the Gateway Arts District opens its doors for the annual Open Studios Tour. Visitors are invited to step inside working studios, meet local artists, and experience the creative process firsthand.
This experience offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with artists, explore a range of disciplines, and support the creative economy that shapes the district.
